Top Clinic for Coaches, Trainers, and Players, October 6th-7th

Certificationbanner.jpg

Jeremy Russott's Skill Training U Trainer Certification Program has announced its next big event, October 6th-7th in Oakland, CA. The event will be held at Holy Names University, for coaches, trainers, players, and dedicated parents. It is a 2-day event, with 14 hours of court specific instruction. Jeremy is a trainer for the some of the top high school, NCAA, and Professional basketball players. This is Jeremy Russotti's premier event, where attendee's receive his 28+ page Syllabus with every drill for every facet of individual training that he provides in his distinguised Green Room Training Program (www.greenroomtraining.net). For those that have his four Millennium Series DVDs, only around 35% makes up his 28+ page syllabus. Therefore, the majority of his teachings (65%) is for this special exclusive event. Says Jeremy, "at first I was hesitant to run this event and share with others what I have been studying and building for the past 11 years. However, after the Vegas event, I saw how appreciative the coaches were and how we have completely changed their philosophy on how they run their practices. That far outweighed taking my curriculum to my grave."

We will also be adding former NBA player and current D1 Coach Rex Walters (University of San Francisco) for shooting instruction, and one of the top Strength and Conditioning Coaches John Murray (Former Golden State Warriors Strength & Conditioning Coach). To visit our new website with video footage and testimonials from our 1st Las Vegas event, please visit www.skilltrainingu.com.
We open only 35 spots for this event and have already had 18+ verbal committments before announcing today. This event will no doubt sell out. However, they are planning events all around the country this spring and next summer, with events in Memphis, Indiana, Orlando and Las Vegas.

Please visit the website for more details about the event. Or visit the link below which will take you to the schedule and where to download our amazing PDF Flyer kit.

http://skilltrainingu.com/events.html

FOR PLAYERS: They are also offerring 4 spots to high school age players (must be varsity level talent) to train and learn during the event. For players it is basically the most elite, jam packed basketball camp they will ever attend. We are only offerring 4 open spots to the public!!! To register email Jeremy ASAP for a spot. The cost is $400. Says Jeremy, "this is a great opportunity for players to learn everything they need to know about Skill Training, and as well the biomechanics for each movement. Since I do not train many high school kids personally this is the best opportunity to get a ton of information and court time in a weekend."

At the first event in Vegas, the attendance ranged from NBA Head Coaches, Professional Overseas, SEC Assistant, National Juco, D2 Assistants, high school, and AAU Coaches. Therefore, it is the ultimate networking and social event as well.

For more information contact Jeremy at (707) 849-1212, or via email info@skilltrainingu.com. To see some of Jeremy's workouts live, please visit the link below of him training Shabazz Muhammad and NBA Summer League surprise player Josh Akognon.

Slam Jam coverage on the way soon

Due to late unforeseen circumstances, Dave Rogahn was unable to attend the Slam Jam Incoming Frosh/Soph Showcase today at El Camino Real high school. He'll still be able to compile boxscores, game reports, and player ratings because we will be obtaining tapes of all the games.

But there will be a delay until these are processed and delivered, hopefully this week. We are making every effort to get the online content rolling ASAP, maybe as soon as Tuesday.

In the meantime, look for a photo gallery of action photos from the games soon. I've got approximately 250 photos uploaded and will be processing them tomorrow (Monday).

Thanks for your patience!

Tyler Dorsey to St.John Bosco

To quote Eric Sondheimer's blog from the La Times

"The arms race continues to heat up in high school basketball, with one top school after another picking up transfer students.
But no school has benefited more than Bellflower St. John Bosco. On Thursday, Coach Derrick Taylor confirmed that highly touted sophomore guard Tyler Dorsey of Ribet Academy is transferring to St. John Bosco.
He'll join what could be an all-transfer starting five, led by the Hamilton brothers, Daniel and Isaac, who arrived last year from Crenshaw. Then there's Darien Williams from Orange Lutheran, Jason and Jordan Dallas from Long Beach Millikan and Devin Burleson from Las Vegas.
Long Beach Poly, expected to be the No. 1 team in Southern California, also has its share of transfers. Ditto for defending state Division III champion Mission Hills Alemany.
The transfers have been going on all summer and don't seem ready to stop."

Roschon Prince to USC

Very nice decision for Ro, the chance to play at a great school that is close to home and with his sister will be special.

I first remember hearing about Roschon in like 6th grade tearing up football and basketball in Long Beach, its kinda he played some varsity football at Poly as a freshman.

Long Beach Poly to me is the clear top team in So Cal next year with Prince,Jordan Bell, and Kameron Chatman, you can make an argument for Poly,Sheldon and Salesian, for being the top team in the state.

SoCal Top Skill Training Aug 3-5th

Without a doubt, one of the top, if not TOP Skill Development trainer in the country, Jeremy Russotti, is coming to Los Angeles August 3rd-5th. Jeremy Trains tops guys such as Shabazz Muhammad, Jeremy Lin, Josh Akognon, Adonis Thomas, Stephen Domingo, Stephen Zimmerman, etc. Jeremy will be going to the Adidas Nations Event at Next Level Complex briefly. However, he will have some time off that will allow him to work out eager SoCal players.

There are openings friday evening, and Saturday (a lot of the day). He will be training some local College kids and maybe a few Pro guys so may have some slots for ELITE level high school kids only in that session.

But if you are a coach and wanted Jeremy to do a 2-3 hr clinic, that could be scheduled possibly as well. But please email me ASAP.

Because of his schedule, Jeremy does not do very many traveling clinics privately. This is a great opportunity to book a session why he is in SoCal. Please visit some training videos below of his training in action

New message board features

party0003.r191677.gif

Our message boards have added some new features for new threads from this point on:

Rich Text Entry - A new posting interface with the capability to use Rich Text entry or HTML. Rich Text entry provides the ability to enter text, bold, italics, and other items without the need for HTML. We still allow an open HTML interface for more advanced users. Emoticons - While this feature is already available for users to add emoticons, one part of the feature is that we added more emoticons to the current system. We also now have the ability to add new emoticons. For now, if you want to send in new ones, just send those requests to me and I'll check and make sure they're not copyrighted by someone else. Embed Photos - Ability to embed photos by providing links. Quote Button on Rich Text Editor - to maintain a quote option when using Rich Text editor Reduce Signature sizes - For all new posts, signature sizes will be reduced so that signatures do not take up as much space. This will clean up the threads and still allow you to see the full size if clicked.
IMPORTANT: These features will not show up for posts in old formatting styles and signature downsizing. The effects will
just be seen ONLY on all new posts/threads going forward.

Also, these new features are for the main site only and we will be looking at upgrading our mobile MBs in the
future.
