What do you think of the way CIF handled playoffs this season?

Now that we have had a chance to look at the brackets, I wonder your thoughts on the process.

I like most of it,but I have a problem with undefeated teams being rewarded(?) with match-ups against other undefeated teams in the first round.

I also struggle with league champions being on the road in the first round.

I do hope, though, that this format leads to the greatest CIF football playoffs in the history of mankind.

I like your high hopes King, I think I'd even be satisfied with the 2nd greatest playoffs in the history of mankind.
I agree with your points and was surprised to find out some league champions were sent on the road. But I read an article where undefeated league champion Simi Valley's coach Benkert was thrilled to be matched up with Trinity League member Orange Lutheran, even on the road. His situation may be different from most though; he's looking for recognition and exposure for his up-and-coming program.
