Huge second half by the Spartans broke open a 20-14 dls halftime lead. The running duo of Antoine Custer and Andrew Hernandez with a stout defense wore down Servite.

Full report coming later.

I watched that game via stream last night and was VERY impressed by de la salle in that second half. a tale of two halves for sure.
their o line is remarkable.
not the biggest either - nor never has been.

Brandon, where does one find out about how DLS does it, o line wise. id love to read or hear about what they do - all facets of the game. its always intrigued me.

De La Salle just wore them down and started to swallow up Travis Waller and his running lanes.

Their opine was a college line last year, this year its not even with Drew Sullivan and Boss Tagaloa being D1 players. Oline wise its just about finding the right guys and putting them in their strength program, which might be one of the best in the country. Its also scheme too, how they get off the ball and at the right time is impressive, the system hasn't changed much in the past 10+ years its developed around personnel.
