Week 9 Point Spreads...Our Race to the Championship

doctrk has had an amazing season...Going into Week 9 he has grabbed enough STARs to accept at least a share of our Championship...But lurking in the shadows is FrmrOlineguy whose three STARs mean he has a chance to pull the unheard of by winning a STAR in each of the last four weeks (He has won each of the last two weeks)...The rest of us take on the roll of spoiler...Our job is to see if we can catch one of those remaining STARs and pad our own resume...Some of us need a STAR just to salvage our season...Good luck to all.

Our Georgia sources think DT/DE Aydin Breland (Mater Dei) will commit to Oregon this weekend

"Rivals250 defensive lineman Ayden Breland will announce his decision this weekend. The closer we get to that announcement, the more Oregon noise we have continued to hear. We are told Breland is a big mama's boy, and while she has signed off for him to go to Georgia or Oregon, staying on the west coast is her preference. The Bulldogs remain in contact and do not feel it is over, but the Ducks certainly have some momentum heading into the weekend."

Adrian and Atticus Enriquez paces Ramona in victory over Rancho Bernardo

By David A. Willauer-Contributing Writer-Bulldog Stadium-Ramona High School-Ramona, CA-10-6-23: In a hard fought gridiron match up new head coach Eric Weddle took his Rancho Bernardo Broncos to Ramona High School and found out what Bulldog Football Tradition is all about after taking a 7-0 lead on Terrick Fisher rushed for 99 yards scored, carried 52 yard touchdown run.

The Bulldogs tied the game at 7-7 as Adrian Enriquez carried the ball for 153 yards, scored on a 5 yard run with the PAT good before Rancho Bernardo took a 14-7 lead as Terrick Fisher ran a kickoff return of 98 yards.

Ramona gained their first lead at 24-14 as tb Adrian Enriquez scored his second touchdown on 4 yards, brother Atticus Enriquez passed for 165 yards followed with a 68 yard pass to Jamil Kassab for another score and Fernando Torres field goal of 58 yards.

Terrick Fisher scored his second touchdown on a 58 yarder to put RB within 3 at 24-21 before the Bulldogs scored the final points on Atticus Enriquez 27 yard pass to Kirk Mitchell and Ryan Dutrow scored on a 9 yard run to make the final score 38-21 in favor of Ramona

Rancho Bernardo 3-4 will host Fallbrook while the Bulldogs Ramona 4-2 will be at San Marcos next Friday night on 10-13-23. Kickoff is 7:00 pm

Former NFL Defensive Star Eric Weddle finds success in first year at Rancho Bernardo High

By David A. Willauer-Contributing Writer-10-6-23: After a successful career at the University of Utah where he was named all conference along with stops at the San Diego Chargers for 9 years, the Baltimore Ravens and the Los Angeles Rams for 3 years each along with 2 Super Bowl Rings. After retiring from the Rams in 2021, the former Ute star started his football coaching career as an assistant at Rancho Bernardo High School.

After previous head coach Triston McCoy retired, Eric Weddle was named the head football coach at Rancho Bernardo High where they are currently 3-4 after a 38-21 loss to the Bulldogs of Ramona High

Eric Weddle New Head Football Coach at Rancho Bernardo: "Ramona is a tough physical ball club the reality is that they are disciplined and we aren't but we have to find a way to improve in order to improve." "After retirement I've wanted to get into coaching kids at the high school level being an former NFL player I can relate to them," "On the 54 yard pass from qb John Paul Gonzales to his brother Hugo our offensive line did a good job." "On the 5 yard touchdown run and the 98 yard kickoff return, Terran Fisher looked for the holes and ran at the right time for the score."
