Four quarterbacks have switched schools. Matthew McDonald went from Mater Dei to Mission Viejo. Brevin White went from Alemany to Chaminade. Michael Bonds went from Newport Harbor to St. Francis. And Ryan Hilinski went from JSerra to Orange Lutheran.

Miles Bryant, the starter last season at St. Francis who was going to have to compete with Bonds, could end up at Alemany.

To be eligible immediately, all will have to move and also make sure that their moves were not for athletic reasons. The Southern Section can't declare someone ineligible for an athletic transfer unless there's clear proof the move was done for athletic reasons.

If the player doesn't move, he'll be ineligible until Oct. 3, the day sitout players become eligible.

Also, two players from Las Vegas Bishop Gorman, standout receiver Tyjon Lindsey and defensive back Brendan Radley-Hiles, announced via Twitter that they are moving back to Southern California.

Radley's brother, Lucky, was a standout at Crespi, Taft and Agoura during his high school days.

2 schools have already improved drastically: Chaminade landing Brevin White means they have 2 big time D1 sophomores for 2 years at QB/RB with TJ Pledger. Centennial landed Tyjon Lindsey, who instantly becomes the best receiver in the IE in a year that now has 3 top 61 players from the area that are all skill position guys with Stephen Carr at Summit, TL, and recent Colony transfer Nathan Tilford.
