Per Eric Sondheimer, LA Times:

Former Oaks Christian quarterback Matt Corral, a USC commit, is taking his talents to Long Beach Poly.

Corral confirmed Tuesday night he will join the Jackrabbits.

One reason will be the chance to graduate early and join USC for spring practice in 2018.

He left Oaks Christian in a dispute with school officials after being a three-year starter at quarterback for the Lions. His family is expected to move into the Poly district, making him eligible immediately.

Long Beach Poly landed Malik Henry from IMG/Westlake High two years ago, now they scored with Matt Corral.

Two of the three D1 junior quarterbacks in that area left. Corral to Long Beach Poly joins Brevin White, who left Chaminade for Paraclete. The lone member of the group left is Oklahoma commit Cameron Rising of Newbury Park.

Hawkins 5 star wide out Jalen Hall also transferred to Poly. He is joined by 4 star safety teammate Aashari Crosswell in Long Beach.
