Passing tournaments at Dana Hills, Redondo on Saturday

There are two big seven on seven passing tournaments scheduled for Saturday, May 14th.

At Redondo, Long Beach Poly, Gardena Serra, Corona Centennial, Cathedral, Loyola, Dorsey, Chaminade and JSerra are among the teams scheduled to compete.

Dana Hills will be hosting their 11th annual AirStrike Passing Tournament. This year's line-up includes:

Corona Del Mar

In the Redondo tournament, Corona Centennial took 2nd place after losing to the winners, an all-star team consisting mostly of Bishop Gorman players (and Tate Martell at QB).
CC coach Matt Logan was pleased with his QB Tanner McKee, "He was phenomenal," Logan said.

The Huskies also have plenty of receivers in Troy Spencer, Justin Fisher, Xavier Marshall, Manny Allen, Tyjon Lindsey and running back Miles Reed.

At Dana Hills, Corona Del Mar won the passing tournament as QB Chase Garbers shined.

Corona del Mar started the day with a win over City Section Division I champion Narbonne and ended the day with a 28-21 win over Edison in the championship game.

Narbonne made it to the semifinals before losing to junior to be quarterback Griffin O'Connor and Edison, 24-21.
