A few updates:
1. Centennial and Bosco roll to the semis in fashion.
2. They face good teams next week as Bosco plays Amat who won a shootout against an undefeated Oaks Christian team while Mater Dei won a close game and hosts Centennial in the rematch of a growing rivalry especially at the Santa Ana Bowl.
3. Rancho Cucamonga and Mission Viejo won blowouts, the semis are in the IE with Mission at Chino Hills and Vista at Rancho.

I think Mission Viejo was down 14-13 at the half.

Tesoro had a great field position to start the game and scored on their first drive.
Rancho answered and answered again.
The Santa Ana winds were a blowin. 30 to 40 mph sustained winds, with gusts even higher.
Rancho just got on a roll. Tesoro scored 2 late garbage time TD's.

Rancho finally gets Vista Murrieta at home. First time for that.

What a surprise in the Eastern Div. Not only did 11-0 defending champ Palm Springs lose, they were owned buy 6-5 Oak Hills. According to the coaches PS couldn't get any part of their game on track. They picked a crappy time to have a let down, but it was a great run for two seasons.

There is a (remote) possibility two DVL teams will meet in the finals. That will be a first.

imjdm....nope, its considered a 'construction site'. the boys are practicing on the new field though.
too bad, I think it would give us a distinct advantage at that new stadium.

Los Osos is still a solid venue for what should be a pretty good game.
