A pair of five-star McDonalds All-Americans from Southern California announced their college choices in the past day.

A few minutes ago Christopher committed to the Arizona State University. The 6’5 guard is ranked 13th in the Rivals150 for the class of 2020. The Mayfair guard is the Sun Devils first five-star recruit since 2007. They landed another guard from the city of Lakewood that year, James Harden, who was ranked 11th coming out of Artesia High School. He joins his older brother Caleb in Tempe, who was a reserve as a freshman for ASU. They are the younger brothers of former Cal and Compton Dominguez standout Patrick Christopher. He averaged 29 points, 11 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 3.5 steals per game as a senior for the Monsoons.

At 1:30 on Easter Sunday, Williams committed to Stanford University. The 6’8 forward is ranked 6th in the Rivals150 for the class of 2020. He is Stanford’s first top 10 recruit since they landed the 10th ranked Brook Lopez and 28th ranked Robin Lopez in the class of 2006, the twin duo from San Joaquin Memorial in Fresno. The Sierra Canyon swingman was recruited hard by Stanford Head Coach Jerod Haase and assistant coaches Adam Cohen and Jesse Pruitt, who began recruiting him as a freshman at Notre Dame High School. He averaged 15 points and almost eight rebounds per game for the Trailblazers, who were the top ranked team in California this past season.
