Everyone is underway now.
5 of the top 10 lost this past week.
We'll see newcomers in our top 10.
Great matchups this week.

1. (1) Mission Viejo (3-0) MV made it 3-0 by cruising to a 56-27 win over Oak Hills. On paper this weeks game has our interest. Next: @ La Habra (2-0)

2. (2) Vista Murrieta (1-0) VM opened the season with a 71-32 win over Ballard (WA.). Should see more of the same this week. Next: Santiago (0-2)

3. (3) Los Al (1-0) LA easily defeated an over-matched Paramount team 49-12. Next an over-matched Lakewood (0-2)

4. (4) Upland (2-0) someone say over-matched? Upland routed another over-matched opponent. This week it was Venice's turn, 63-7. Upland has outscored its first two opponents 112-13. This week it should be tougher for the Scots. Next: @ Tesoro (1-1) - you think Uplands looking for redemption...we do !!

5. (9) San Juan Hills (2-0) The Stallions are off to a 2- 0 start, this week they defeated Canyon / Anaheim 32-14. Next: Capo Valley (2-0)

6. (5) Tesoro (1-1) After a seemingly easy win over HB Edison, Tesoro ran into a buzz saw in Mater Dei, losing 35-14. This week it gets #4 Upland (2-0)

7. (6) Rancho Cucamonga (1-1) RC lost a tough one to Norco (2-0) 29-26. RC had it chances, but seemingly shot itself in the foot with just too many penalties. Disappointing since RC played a very clean game the previous week. Were thinking RC takes out some frustration this week. Next: Don Lugo (1-1)

8. (nr) Edison (1-1) The Chargers righted the ship after a season opening loss by blowing out Buena Park 38-0. They should blow out this weeks opponent too, before the annual Servite / Mater Dei series. Next: Canyon / Anaheim

9. (nr) Hart (1-0) Hart enters the top 10 after a surprisingly easy win over regarded Downey, 38-14. Next: Paraclete (0-2)

10. (7) Chino Hills (1-1) CH lost to J Serra 42-14. Next: Roosevelt (0-2)
Murrieta Valley (2-0) Beat up Citrus Hill 44-21. to move into the top 10. Big win this week. Next: Elsinore (0-2)
