Last week of the regular season.
There was a major upset in the Top 10 this week with Hart being shut out by Saugus, which may play a major role on playoffs pairings.

Who will be the at-larger team? El Toro will be 5-5 after this weeks win vs Dana Hills, but only 1-3 in league.
For us, the Foothill League scenarios are awesome. Love it, going to be interesting for sure, with a lot of scoreboard watching.

Why? Valencia (4-0) plays Hart (3-1) who just lost to the 'Gus, Golden Valley (2-2) plays Saugus (3-1). There is a possibility of a 3 way tie for second place with each team being 3-2. More interesting there could be 3 teams with 4-1 records. Now this is fun.

Baseline second place is up for grabs between Rancho Cucamonga and Upland. Can RC finally beat the Scots? or is more of the same. Game is at Upland.

SCL pits San Juan Hills at Tesoro winner takes second. We think the winner gets the #4 seed.

SWL has Great Oak at Murrieta Valley. After starting off 0-3 GO has won 5 of its last 6, the only loss was to Vista Murrieta. Are the 'Pack peaking at the right time? Murrieta Valley's two losses are from Rancho Cucamonga and Vista Murrieta.

1. (1) Mission Viejo (4-0 10-0) Mission went wire to wire in our Top 10 this year as they finished off their season defeating El Toro 39-20. Next: WVD first round playoffs.

2. (2) Vista Murrieta (4-0 8-1) In what was once a rivalry is no more as VM blasted Chaparral 55-10 to essentially win another SWL title. Next: Temecula Valley (0-4 4-5)

3. (3) Tesoro (2-1 7-2) The Titans had theyre bye week this past week to prepare for a pretty good San Juan Hills team. Winner takes second place and possible #4 seed for the playoffs. Next: San Juan Hills (2-1 8-1)

4. (4) Chino Hills (4-0 7-2) CH clinched at least a share of its first ever Baseline League title with a win over Damien, 35-20. At one though, CH trailed 20-14. Next: Etiwanda (1-3 3-6)

5. (6) Edison (4-0 6-3) Well so much for a rivalry game. Edison ripped Fountain Valley 33-7 to capture a share of the Sunset. Edison is looking pretty solid and may make some noise in the WVD playoffs. Next: Newport Harbor (2-2 4-5)

6. (7) San Juan Hills (2-1 8-1) San Juan Hills cruised past lowly Dana Hills 55-15 to set up a showdown for second place showdown against #3 Tesoro (2-1 7-2). Are the Stallions up for the challenge?

7. (8) Rancho Cucamonga (3-1 7-2) In another penalty marred game Rancho was able to defeat Etiwanda 38-24 to set up its annual show down with Upland (3-1 6-3). RC hasn't beat Upland since 2010. If there's a year, this could be the year.

8. (9) Murrieta Valley (3-1 7-2) MV crushed Temecula Valley 63-13. This week is for second place against a hot Great Oak (3-1 5-4) team.

9. (10) Upland (3-1 6-3) The U had no problem with Los Osos winning 38-7. Upland was up 38-0. This week is a big time game for the Scots as RC (3-1 7-2) comes to town. Looking forward to see how the freshman QB from Upland handles a pretty big game. Kid looks good.

10. (5) Hart (3-1 7-2) Man, what happened? Hart was shut out by Saugus 24-0. Guess that happens when you lose your starting QB and RB? Hart could be In danger of falling to third place or even as the 4th team from the Foothill with a loss this week and a Golden Valley victory over Saugus. Next: Valencia (4-0 6-3)

others:
Great Oak - getting hot at the right time?
Valencia - wins the Foothill outright with a win over Hart
Los Al - won their last 2. has Marina this week for its 3rd straight.
