You deserve the shout out, KM. The effort you put into the weekly picks was extraordinary and sure made the season more interesting and enjoyable.

I also want to thank all the board members who participate on the message board for the civil and informative posts and discussion. Message boards and social media in general are filled with too much personal attacks, politics, and divisive interaction.

I hope all you good guys stick around all year!

We used to get kind of silly on the SoCal board. Hopefully you didnt have too many posts to trash.

I hardly ever go on other high school boards so don't know much about what's going on elsewhere but I did get complaints of porn being posted on another Rivals.com board, not sure if it was the SoCal one. I alerted Rivals and never heard complaints again. If that board was shut down, maybe it got out of control, I don't know.

We had a lot of personal diabribe on this board a few years ago, some of you remember, and I had to ban a few folks. I hated being a censor and figuring out where to draw the line. The bottom line was a lot of folks love being anonymous and posted stuff way over the line so traffic on this board went down but those remaining appreciate a civil message board.

I'm always open to suggestions to keep the board vibrant. I really appreciate all you folks who frequented this board during the season, especially King Marques and his weekly picks contest!
