I see 19 teams battling for 16 playoff spots this final regular season weekend.
Northview Vikings(9-0, 4-0) IN from first place
Culver City Centaurs(7-2, 3-1) IN from 2cnd place
Citrus Valley(6-3, 2-2) ON THE BUBBLE from 3rd place or at-large
San Jacinto Tigers(8-1, 3-1) IN from 2cnd place
Warren Bears(6-3, 3-1) IN from 2cnd place
Millikan Rams(6-2, 4-1) IN from 2cnd place
Valencia Tigers(8-1, 4-0) IN from 1st place
Notre Dame Titans(7-2, 2-0) IN from 1st place
Sunny Hills Lancers(7-2, 3-1) IN from 2cnd place
Grand Terrace Titans(6-3, 4-0) IN from 2cnd place
Crescenta Valley Falcons(8-1, 5-1) IN? from 3rd place
Santa Barbara Dons(6-4, 3-2) IN from 2cnd place selection out of tied league group
Elsinore(4-5, 1-1) OUT, unless they beat Temescal Canyon(3-5, 1-1) this week.
Santa Ynez(5-4, 2-2) ON THE BUBBLE gotta win and hope for an at-large entry
LaQuinta Blackhawks(5-4, 3-1) IN? if they win their final game, from 2cnd place, otherwise hoping for an at-large
Newport Harbor Sailors(3-5-1, 0-4) OUT
Troy(3-6, 2-2) IN, if they win from 3rd place.
Pacifica(4-5, 2-2) ON THE BUBBLE, maybe from 3rd place, or can try for an at-large should they not have won the coin flip for third place with a tie. They MUST win Friday to have this opportunity.
El Segundo Eagles(4-5, 1-3) ON THE BUBBLE, MUST win a tough game against Santa Monica and have favorable tie-breaker for third place. Could still try for an at-large if they win and don't own the favorable tie-breaker for third place.
St. Anthony Saints(3-7, 2-2) OUT
Buena Bulldogs(3-6, 2-2) ON THE BUBBLE. Must own a favorable tiebreaker for third place
Thousand Oaks(0-9, 0-3) OUT
Buena Park(3-6, 1-3) OUT, unless they can beat powerhouse La Habra
La Salle(0-9, 0-3) OUT

This selection baffles me a little. Elsinore(4-6, 1-2) lost 43-7, to Temescal Canyon, therefore finishing third in a four team league and also not meeting the .500 record requirement, yet they got selected as a Division 7 participant.

They are 17 point underdogs to the Valencia Tigers of Placentia for the opening round of the playoffs.

For the first round of the playoffs, I would not recommend watching one of the top seeded teams but a game from some teams in the middle of the divisional rankings. For instance, my pick for a good competitive game in Division 7 this opening round is the ninth ranked(by Calpreps.com) Sunny HIlls Lancers(8-2) vs the 10th ranked Grand Terrace Titans(6-4). Calpreps.com has only a 3 point spread favoring Sunny Hills in this contest at Buena Park.

LOL, I guess this one is the Valencia Tigers vs the Elsinore Tigers. I predict the Tigers will win. :)
