A trio of results stand out:
1. St. John Bosco handles Mater Dei, the Braves with an impressive and convincing 23 point win on the road in a battle of the top 2 ranked teams in the country according to many national polls. Those 2 could have a rematch in a few weeks in the CIF Final.
2. Bishop Amat 28-14 over Notre Dame-the Lancers in first place as the lone Mission League team undefeated in league after the nice win.
3. JSerra 56-21 Orange Lutheran-the Lions with a blowout win over the Lancers in a battle of Trinity League teams. It will be real interesting to see how they do against Mater Dei next week.
