A Number of Promotions Available vs. Boise State
The game will honor Aztec great Marshall Faulk and his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame

SAN DIEGO – With one of the largest crowds of the year expected for No. 19/18 San Diego State football’s game against Boise State on Saturday, those in attendance will be treated to a preponderance of promotions.

Fans are asked to wear red to the game against Boise State for a “Code Red” as a show of support for the Aztecs. Those in attendance will receive a free red pom inside each open gate while supplies last.

Saturday’s game is held in conjunction with SDSU’s Family Weekend, welcoming over 2,500 family members of SDSU students to the game, and is the Fleet Week Football Classic as part of Fleet Week San Diego.

Members of the United States Marine Corps will also be recognized during the game.

The contest will also honor Aztec great Marshall Faulk. Faulk will be signing autographs in Aztec Village (Lots C1/D1) from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with limited edition Faulk posters available for attendees who receive an autograph. At halftime, Faulk will be honored with a National Football Foundation Hall of Fame On-Campus Salute, presented by Fidelity Investments, for his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame later this year.

As part of his recognition, the first 2,000 students through Gate J will receive a free Marshall Faulk t-shirt.

Aztec Village is open from 5-7 p.m. in Lots C1/D1 of the SDCCU Stadium parking lot. Entrance to the village is free to the public and there will be food and beverage options for purchase, Kids Zone with carnival rides, inflatable games, face painters, a photo booth, a DJ and San Diego State’s softball team on site playing whiffle ball with fans.

Additionally, Aztecs Rock Hunger will be collecting cash donations at all gates.

Ranked 19th in the latest AP poll and 18th in the Amway Coaches Poll, SDSU is off to its first 6-0 start since 1975. San Diego State (6-0, 2-0 MW) has won eight consecutive games, and is 14-2 in its last 16 games and 27-3 in its last 30.

With a large crowd expected, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early for better seat location. Individual tickets may be purchased online at GoAztecs.com or over the phone at (619) 283-7378. The Aztec Ticket Office, located at SDCCU Stadium Window E, is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. PT until 5 p.m. PT. On Saturday, the ticket office will open at noon PT.

Current San Diego State students can obtain one free ticket with a valid SDSU RedID (card must be swipe valid). Tickets can be retrieved at the Viejas Arena Box Office Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. PT to 4:30 p.m. PT, or at the Conrad Prebys Student Union Information Booth.
