Undue influence, and Rancho Verde should be allowed to advance with the forfeit.

It's happened before. St. Paul clobbered Pioneer HS 44-8 in 1974.

St. Paul had to forfeit for spying on Pioneer's practices.

Pioneer was awarded a 1-0 forfeit win, and advanced to the second round, losing to Newport Harbor 37-0.

Chaminade just advances to the championship game without playing this week due to this ruling.

It seems like there has been a lot of forfeits this season with Narbonne the most high profile of the bunch.

Not sure how true it is, but someone wrote this in response, “Transfer QBs were splitting time. SC went with one and the other QBs parents were so pissed they went to CIF themselves and said their son was illegally recruited. That way they can sabotage the team to get back at them for their son not getting time.”

Not true. Only one of the Quarterbacks was a transfer. The transfer from Long Beach has been the starter all season and he is the player that was illegally recruited. I doubt that the starting QB's parents went to CIF to report their son. More likely someone at the Long Beach School reported the violations.
