The CIF sent out an additional clarification:
"These changes do not affect the semifinal and final playoff dates for the CIF Southern Section. Barring any unfortunate occurrence necessitating changes, the CIF-SS 11 and 8 Man Football semifinals are still scheduled for this weekend and the finals the weekend of November 23-24."

The announcement also states that the Nor Cal Regional Finals are the 7-8. That means De La Salle will get the same 3 week off break off as the winner of Division 1 in Southern California in the Open Division from their game on November 24-December 16th.

Most of the Nor Cal Sections will still have their championships next weekend so they would have a 2 week off break before the regional finals then a week before the final. In the South teams will play the finals and state regionals in back to back weeks as planned but now have a 2 week off break before the state finals.
