LOS ALAMITOS, CA - CIF Southern Section-Ford Playoff pairings for the fall sport ofgirls’ volleyball were announced at the CIF Southern Section headquarters Saturday.
This is the first year of end of season, competitive equity-based playoff groupings. A total of 296 teams have qualified into the 10 divisional playoff brackets.
The single elimination tournaments begin with first-round matches on Wednesday, October 23 with Division’s 1-3. Division’s 4-10 commence on Thursday, October 24.
The championship finals will be conducted in a one-day, ten-match extravaganza. Various sites will host these finals with Cerritos College (Division’s TBD) and designated host sites (Division’s TBD) on Saturday, Nov. 9 serving as these locations.
The No. 1-seeded teams include Sierra Canyon, Saugus, Rosary Academy, Santa Fe, Loma Linda Academy, South Pasadena, Paraclete, Charter Oak, South El Monte, and DelphiAcademy.
