Malik Henry to Long Beach Poly

5 star senior quarterback Malik Henry has decided where he will spend his senior year. The former Westlake standout who attended IMG Academy of Florida for a few months this spring enrolled at Long Beach Poly today. The Jackrabbits play Friday night at Arizona D2 State Champion Centennial before a 2 week break before they play at City Section power Narbonne.

It will be interesting to see how Antonio Pierce integrates the Florida State commit into a QB competition with junior Nolan McDonald and sophomore Darius Kryger to replace last year's starter Josh Love, who had a huge senior year.

Yeah he denied it but will see what happens after Poly plays tonight and we get to next week.

CIF cleared Henry earlier today according to the Eric Sondheimer of the LA Times and the Long Beach Press Telegram.

The Jackrabbits will have the 5 star quarterback committed to Florida State for Friday's showdown at powerhouse Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas. Henry will be in uniform for the remaining schedule which includes a date in Concord against De La Salle on October 16th.
