A few observations:
1. Elias Ricks and Mater Dei roll. Three pick 6s for the elite junior corner back as they beat Centennial by 34.
2. St. John Bosco 56-10 over Oaks Christian. The gap between 1-2 and everyone else in Southern California looked clear with blowouts in the semifinals of the top bracket in state.
3. Upland over Calabasas, impressive win for the Highlanders in the semifinals.
