Based on the scores there are a tremendous amount of mismatches and scores being run up . Are there really this many terrible teams or just poor sportsmanship ?

Why would a Coach be putting fifty to sixty points on a opponent by the end of three quarters or even playing teams that they can annihilate this easily annually ?

2i agree some pretty lopsided scores that makes you question why schedule it unless one time team lost/gained a lot since the previous matchup.

A few observations:
1. Centennial over Pittsburg, impressive win for the Huskies in a matchup of two state title contenders.
2. JSerra over Amat, the Lions win a close battle of undefeated teams with Amat technically having a win over Mater Dei in the record book.
3.Los Al over Poly, very nice win for them over a Poly team that just beat Narbonne.

2i, yes there are that many bad teams out there.
It seems HS football has taken on the same approach to many in collegiate ranks,scheduling mediocre / cupcake opponents in non league ventures.
Demographics have really changed in the last 5 to 10 years.
