Thats a monster match up early on.
Too bad they dont have a game under their belts before this. Yet, still a huge early indicator game.

That is 2 top 10 teams in the state facing each other in the first game.

They are both top 7 in my rankings for Southern California and this website. I am still figuring it out but Centennial, St. John Bosco, and Bishop Amat are my definite top 3.

Hows the Baseline looking doc, going to be any shake ups in the league?

baseline is the baseline..on any given week...
upland lost a ton, but has the guys to get it done. tillford should be one of the best if not best player in league.
rancho's defense isnt big, but its freakin fast...matute returns for his third year, need wr's to step up.
chino hills is solid, well coached
etiwanda also lost a lot of guys, but those guys always have talent, new coach - better product???
damien - parades will get them competitive, is it enough for this year?
los osos - has cabral and younquist - they a got a db transfer from another baseline team, kid should have a good year - good player too...

any shake-ups? who knows, its the baseline.

a close friend of mine is tight w an oline coach at mission Viejo. word is mission is loading up on the transfers, specifically o linemen. south county ex nfl'rs. kids coming in fro dana hills, trabucco hills, capo valley, and o lu.
imo I think MV is the #1 team in the WVD.
there are some good match ups for WVD teams. ill get into that in a bit.
calpreps ratings for WVD teams is way down this year, compared to last year.

I see where Serra has a freshman that made varsity and is supposed to be good. Check out DB Max Williams if you get a chance.

tried looking up his number on maxpreps, but no number assigned yet.
ill be working the chains, so I'll ask about him.

Serra has some unreal athletes.
Betuki (sp) didn't play - shoulder issue - they didn't need him lol
max Williams looks pretty good. he does not look like a freshman - ability wise - hes ahead of the curve.
he had a few nice tackles in space.
overall Serra looked really good. their receivers caught just about everything.
