Looking for feedback, hopefully I came to the right place. Player goes to conditioning all fall and winter, middle of the road player for a mediocre team.
Player is number 15 of 17, jerseys get handed out and player doesn’t receive one. 6 of the jerseys are reserved for players who are playing other sports, those players didn’t go to any basketball conditioning or even tryouts.
Player doesn’t receive any rationale as to why, just “it is what it is”. Coach has a predetermined roster I guess. For a season that will have about 8 games.
How would you keep the player motivated to keep putting in the work?
