Mission Viejo's 4-star WR Phillip Bell will announce his commitment on Saturday

Phillip Bell is down to USC and Ohio State and will announce his commitment on Saturday.

Per Rivals national recruiting director Adam Gorney: "From everything we’re hearing, the Buckeyes definitely look strongest as Bell loved his visits to Columbus, his relationship with [Ohio State] position coach Brian Hartline and [because] USC could have other top targets as well."

[interesting personal update on Vander and family] Oregon may be back in play for four-star TE Vander Ploog (Troy), a Washington commit since June

It is no secret that the Ducks are still looking for a tight end, but with their top targets seemingly locked in elsewhere, the staff are working hard on Vander Ploog.

Ploog is a very interesting player at the position given his family background.
