CoachTodd Malecki and Iceman Basketball do a wonderful job at developing kids into young men and quality basketball players for the college level. When coach Malecki says he has a player we listen!! Cameron Turner Anchorage Alaska

Todd, I am ready to evaluate Mark and the Lance for a possible scholarship offer. Just let me know when you can bring those kids plus Ryan Smith. I don't think Coach is coming over, he's trying to get a sponsor for the carrier game. Call you to let you know. Doesn't matter we just need them on a visit. Thank you, Tim Cook, SD Christian

Subj: Recommendation Letter

To all basketball families,
My name is James Rosser and I wanted to take a moment to express to you my profound and complete support of Coach Todd Malecki and his Icemen basketball program. We as a family have been in the Icemen program for almost 8 years. We started playing with Icemen back when our oldest son Matthew, now age 22, was a high school sophomore. Todd is first and foremost a teacher of the game. I appreciate the fact that he consistently reinforces fundamentals regardless if your new to basketball or have been playing for years. You will find no better advocate for your student athlete than Coach Malecki. His reputation in the basketball community is well known and he'll work tirelessly to get his guys on the radar of college coaches of all levels.

Our oldest son Matt was seen playing in a tournament for coach just prior to graduating his senior year. He was coming off minor knee surgery and hadn't gotten a lot of looks from colleges because of his rehab and recovery. Cal Poly Pomona coaches among others where in attendance and working with Todd, Matt was invited up for workouts and eventually signed a scholarship offer from the school. Our son not only recieved a quality education from a fantastic university, he was the starting point guard on Cal Poly Pomona's 2010 Division II National Championship Team. Matt has taken his basketball talents overseas, and he is now playing as a professional with the Philippine National Team.

We currently have our two younger son playing with Icemen. Brandon a high school senior and Jason a high school freshmen. B has become one of the best high school players in southern california and has received scholarship offers from universities from New York to California and plenty of states in between. This is primarily from his playing for Coach Malecki and Icemen.

In my opinion you can not find a better program than Icemen Basketball to give your child every opportunity to not only play but to excel at the next level!

Best Regards,
James Rosser

So glad to announce Coach Don Casey will be a Guest Speaker at the 6th Annual 5 Counties Top 100 College Showcase on Sunday, Aug 13th. 20 year NBA Coach, Temple University, ALS Association. One of the kindest, smartest coaches I know.

After retiring from the NBA in 2000, he became Vice Chairman of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. He was also Vice President of the NBA Coaches Association, and most recently worked with Team USA to help prepare them for the 2008 Olympics.

Casey’s mother died for of ALS in 1969, and he has been committed to the cause ever since, having served on the boards of both the New York Chapter and the San Diego Chapter.
Coach Casey is an author of The Temple of Zones, and now works with international coach and NBA scout Hernando Planells on a blog (http://templeofzones.blogspot.com) and conducts coaching clinics and camps around the world.
