Procedure for Team Selection: To be eligible for the State Regional Football Championship Bowl Games, teams must have been their respective CIF Section Champion, except for those Sections with an Open Division Championship.

In order to balance the number of teams from the north and the south, three teams from the south will be slotted in the north once all of the bowl games participants have been determined. These three teams will be selected from the Central Section and/or Southern Section.

Play-in game took place on December 1.

The following is a breakdown of qualifiers per Section (52 total qualifiers):
Central – 6
Central Coast – 5
LA City – 3
North Coast – 6
Northern – 4
Oakland – 1
Sac-Joaquin – 7
San Diego – 6
San Francisco – 1
Southern – 13

Some of those games look very good. I like the Helix Oaks Christian, the Lions are peaking and playing really well.
