Were a few league titles settled this past week?

1.(3) Mission Viejo (2-0 6-2) MV knocked off previous #1 Tesoro 12-10 to give it at least a share of the SCL title. Next: San Juan Hills (0-1 3-4)

2. (4) Inland Valley All Stars (2-0 5-2) IVA's beat baseline new comer chino hills, 28-16, to take control of the baseline. Next: Los osos (0-2 2-5)

3. (1) Tesoro (1-1 6-2) Lost to MV 12-10. Gets well this week vs. Dana Hills (0-1 1-6)

4. (2) Chino Hills (1-1 5-2) CH were beat by upland 28-16 in the battle for the baseline. Next: Damien (0-2 3-4)

5. (5) Hart (2-0 5-2) Hart rolled to a 42 - 14 victory over west ranch after trailing 14-0. Next: golden valley (0-2 3-4)

6. (6) Vista Murrieta (2-0 5-2) VM rolled to another easy SWL win, over rival Murrieta valley 49-14. Next: Murrieta Mesa (0-2 4-3)

7. (7) Los Al (2-0 6-1) LA blasted Newport Harbor 62-27. This week Los al blasts marina (0-2 0-7) too.

8.(8) Valencia (2-0 5-2) Valencia also came away with an easy victory, beating Saugus 56-19.

9. (9) El Toro (1-1 6-2) ET and its opponent San Juan Hills must have thought they were in league, in basketball. ET defeated SJH 74-56.

10. (10) Edison (2-0 5-2) Edison beat rival Huntington Beach 29-14 to stay even with los al. Next: NHHS 1-1 3-4)

others:
Great Oak (1-1 5-2) - secured 2nd place? by beating Chaparral 35-10.
Etiwanda (2-0 5-2-1) - rolled to another victory 35-6 over Damien. E Hi has only given up 9 points in its last 3 games. This week E Hi can make a statement this week vs. Rancho Cucamonga (1-1 4-3)

MV got lucky.
Tesoro had an off night.

No way is MV the best team in the division.
Upland, Tesoro and Chino Hills are the top 3.
