The San Diego CIF site is taking nominations

The CIFSDS celebrates 50 years of teaching sportsmanship this year. As part of the celebration, the CIFSDS will select the TOP 50 High School Athletes in the Section based on their high school careers and establish the CIF San Diego Section Hall of Fame.

You can log onto the CIFSDS website www.cifsds.org to make nominations for top 50 athletes or moments.

Announcement to be made Nov. 9

CIF-San Diego Section will hold a press conference beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 9, Marina Village Catalina Room, to announce the TOP 50 ATHLETES IN THE LAST 50 YEARS!

Directions to Marina Village (Mission Bay) ? 1960 Quivera Road, San Diego 92109:

From Interstate 5: Take Sea World Drive exit. From Sea World Drive, take *West Mission Bay Drive, on your right. When you see a large green sign that says Quivira Road, get in the farthest left of the two left turn lanes. Turn left, go very short distance, and turn left again. Drive about .4 mile and Marina Village will be on your right.

From Interstate 8: Take West Mission Bay Drive exit to the right. You will be on Ingraham for a short distance from which you will take the next exit marked West Mission Bay Drive. Then follow directions above from the asterisk/underlined portion.
