2 players transferred from LA city schools this year and claimed to have addresses in the school's boundaries and a residence check found that to be false. Apparently Delus did assist with transportation of those specific students at least a few times over the summer. He did not try to deny the situation but admitted that he handled it poorly. Also on the Canyon team is "transfer" Brook Lemar. She originally attended Golden Valley. I assume she has done an actual residence change and is therefore still allowed to participate. It might be nice to actually see players that are real residents within the Canyon area, actually get to play basketball for Canyon.

Wow. I didn't see this coming. If he was going to be fired I figured it would have something to do with an anger management problem.
The Hart girls basketball program was also found to have an illegal LA City transfer. The Hart coach was not penalized in this case.
