From our Oregon staff:

"Don’t look now, but it looks like Oregon might be in position to get another commit from Northern California with Jadyn Hudson leaning toward Oregon right now.

He spoke to Rivals a couple of weeks ago and praised Oregon head coach Dan Lanning for his dedication and loyalty to Oregon. Getting Matthew Johnson from the same town (Pittsburg, CA) is not really something that is going to change this recruitment either way.

The Ducks have made the No. 55 overall player in the nation and No. 7 safety a massive priority and have done fantastic work with his recruitment. Of course, leaning and committing are two different things. I like where the Ducks stand right now and I know that they are not going to give up no matter what – Hudson is very high on the list at a position of need.

- Four-star linebacker Noah Mikhail from Bonita High School in LaVerne (CA) is set to visit Oregon again in mid-March. The 6-3, 210-poind inside linebacker is going to make a lot of trips during the spring.

While he has loved his prior visits to Oregon, this one seems to have USC written all over it – the Ducks will continue to recruit him, but this one would be really a major long-shot.
