Our Oregon writing staff sees some intriguing possibilities with the under-the-radar Cox:
"2025 Oak Hills (Heperia, CA) running back Karson Cox is set to make an unofficial visit to Eugene on April 7 to check out spring practices for Oregon. The 6-0, 190 pound three star had a solid junior season rushing for 1,349 yards and 19 touchdowns while averaging 10.5 yards per carry.
He also had 13 receptions for 176 yards and three more scores. Unlike some elite players at the high school level, Cox is also a part time starter at linebacker since and notched 23 tackles last season as well.
Cox has been to Oregon once before and wants to also work out some plans for an official visit in Eugene, but this is another name to watch. This is someone that has sort of flown under the radar but he could flourish in the Oregon offense."
