Rancho Cucamonga Baseline Champs

ran into one the coaches this afternoon and asked about the coin flip between rancho and etiwanda...rancho won the coin flip and is the #1 out of the basline. told the coach hopefully theyre on the other side of the bracket from MD. he said for some reason they always draw MD.

That was huge win for Rancho on Tuesday night and a completely different outcome from the game we both we at in the Eagles Nest in January.

1AA is crazy like always:MD/POLY/Etiwanda/Centennial/Loyola/etc. I will say the same thing about Rancho that I have been saying about Chino HIlls, they probably won't go far in this super division but they could definitely win other divisions, like 1A,2AA,2A,3AAA and 3AA.

i wasnt at the game tuesday night, but heard that the officiating was suspect, lack of fouls called etc..this was un biased friends of mine too. i was shocked when i read the paper wednsday morning.

in that division RC doesnt have much of a shot past the second round, thats a real heaveyweight division that 1AA. it would be nice to see the cougs win a few games though. if the games arent played on tuesdays or thursdays we'll likely go see both rc and e hi during the week. brackets are out in a bit. we shall see.

Doc, I wasn't at that one either, I heard alot of the same along with the fact that Etiwanda didn't play well following their impressive win over Loyola on Saturday night.

The brackets are out and that coin flip meant so much now. Etiwanda has to go on the road to Palmdale to face Highland with a game in between a potential quarterfinal date with Centennial and a 3rd matchup this season

I like Rancho's spot, they can beat a decent King team at home before facing likely a good Inglewood team.

It'll be tough to get by Inglewood but if Rancho can slow Brandon Randolph it can be done. Inglewood has a win over St. John Bosco early in the season.

That will be a really tough game because that will be at Inglewood, if they win and RC wins.
