Willauer-Contributing Writer-Saturday, February 19, 2022-The Broncos of Rancho Bernardo HIgh School known for their outstanding baseball tradition and talent that have made the majors and minors came on today as they scored 1 run in the fourth, 2 in the fifth and 1 in the sixth as they defeated the Rams of Murietta Mesa HIgh School by a 4-2 score in the first round of the Pirate Baseball Invitational
For Rancho Bernardo Ben Lyons contributed with 1 double 2 singles 1 sacrifice fly and 2 singles, Ivan Motas 1 double and 1 run scored, Kevin Takeushi 2 doubles 2 rbi's and 1 run scored.
Rancho Bernardo with the win goes to 1-0 and will travel to Temecula, CA to take on the Wolfpack of Great Oak on Tuesday, 2-22-22
