Basketball Our Bulldogs won their first League game at home tonight against Valley Center. This was a solid league opener for our boys who came out ready to play from the tip-off. Eli Vogelhuber racked up his second double-double of the season and four of our boys scored in double digits.

Our Bulldogs showed off their defensive skills in the first quarter only allowing the Jaguars 5 points while putting 24 on the board. Eli Vogelhuber drained a 3 pointer, a trio of buckets, and a free throw, Aaron Moe scored a 3 pointer and a pair of buckets, Adam Moe had a pair of buckets, and Chase Newman hit a 3 pointer.

Ramona continued raining buckets and 3 pointers in the second quarter adding another 22 points while holding Valley Center to 10 points. Dalton Norvell scored a pair of buckets and a pair of free throws, Aaron Moe got another 3 pointer and a free throw, Chase Newman added a bucket and a pair of free throws, Carson Ward drained a 3 pointer, Eli Vogelhuber sank a bucket and a free throw, and Adam Moe had a bucket.

The Jaguars rallied coming out of the half scoring 14 and our Bulldogs had a hard time getting points to fall only putting up 12. Chase Newman sank a 3 pointer, Jayden Abdou scored a bucket and a free throw, while Eli Vogelhuber, Dalton Norvell, and Adam Moe had a bucket each.

Ramona started the scoring machine again in the fourth quarter adding another 17 points while Valley Center added 11. Chase Newman scored a trio of buckets, Adam Moe drained a 3 pointer and a bucket, Eli Vogelhuber had a pair of buckets, and Carson ward drove one in for two.

Summary of stats: Eli Vogelhuber had a double-double with 19 points and 10 boards, an assist, and 3 steals; Chase Newman added 16 points, 8 boards, 5 assists, 4 steals, and blocked 2 shots; Adam Moe scored 13 points, 3 boards, 5 assists, and a steal; Aaron Moe put up 11 points, 4 boards, 3 assists, and 2 steals; Dalton Norvell had 8 points, 6 boards, 3 assists, and a steal; Carson Ward knocked down 5 points, 4 boards, an assist, and 2 steals; Jayden Abdou scored 3 points, 2 boards, 2 assists, and a steal; and Cohen Armstrong had 9 boards and blocked 4 shots.

Our Bulldogs are at home again Friday night against Escondido at 7:00 PM in the Dawghouse. If you want to catch an evening of exciting basketball action, come out and help cheer our Dawgs to victory!
