Question about PLAYOFF FORMAT.

I'm not familiar with the California playoff format.

What comes after the San Diego Section Division IV Championship? Is there a Southern California regional playoff, or does it go directly to an all-California playoff? Where can I find brackets, box-scores, game dates, etc.?

I am particularly interested in following the boys team from Army-Navy Academy in Carlsbad.

The regional playoffs come next and Army-Navy will be in the southern region.


Complete brackets will be made available by the CIF by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3.

CIF [/B]BASKETBALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS SCHEDULE[/B]
Wed., March 6 - Round I (Divisions I-V) at Host Schools at 7:00 pm

Fri., March 8 - Round I (Open Division) at Host Schools at 7:00 pm

Sat., March 9 - Round II (Divisions I-V) at Host Schools at 7:00 pm

Tue., March 12 - Regional Semi-Finals (ALL Divisions) at Host Schools at 7:00 pm

Sat., March 16 -
Northern Regional Finals at Sleep Train Arena (Open Division-II) and American Canyon HS (Division III-V)

Southern Regional Finals at Citizens Business Bank Arena (Open Division-II) and Colony HS (Division III-V)

Fri.-Sat., March 22-23 - State Finals at Sleep Train Arena (Sacramento)
