Prolific Prep Academy won the 2014 JumpBall Classic with
a 4-0 record and a championship game win against the host
team, Future Prep Academy out of Carson, CA.
Prolific Prep Academy led approximately 165 of the 180 total
minutes it played in the tournament, and won the championship
game with a defensive stop by Josh Jackson to win 79-78.
Josh Jackson was named outstanding player of the tourney
while leading the entire 12 team tourney field with a 28.5 PPG
average.
Prolific Prep Academy had 3 players on the all-tournament team
which includes 2016 wing Josh Jackson who was the most
outstanding player, 2016 Forward Algevon Eichelberger who
tallied 16.3 PPG, and 2015 PG Kyle Leufroy who was 2nd overall
in the entire tournament with a 7.5 APG average.
Prolific Prep beat 5th year Post Graduate teams; Middlebrooks Academy,
Cooper International Academy, and Future College Prep. They also beat
Cathedral High, which is a pre-season top 5 California State Open Division
Team. Prolific Prep had a 35+ point lead with 15 minutes to go in the game.
All this without 6-9" high major 2017 prospect Mamoudou Diarra, who stayed
home with a knee injury.
Prolific Prep Academy opens up it's Home Schedule at Napa Valley
College with 3 games on: Friday November 14th @ 7pm against
Reno International Prep, Saturday November 15th @ 8pm against
Hillcrest Academy, and Sunday November 16th @ 2pm against Elite
Prep Education Academy. It will be showcase games all day in Napa for
that weekend.
