Eastern Division - Week 4

There are 6 undefeated teams this week going into Week 4 still in the Top 10 in the CIF Polls.

I don't see much change this week except with a very good chance of #6 Silverado losing to Santiago (Corona)

I'm not high on rankings/polls until the end of the season when teams get matched up for the playoffs. Norte Vista should remain at the top and I don't see Hesperia knocking them off this week.

The one ranking that I have most confidence in is Calpreps, but often they get it wrong too. The Desert Sun's list is usually a joke, not much better than CIF's rankings. CIF places way too much emphasis on W-L no matter who the opponents are.

I'm with you on putting too much stock in early season rankings other than it is fun to see your team getting props from others.

Howdy Dave.

I hope to make it to at least one PS game. I've seen a couple HS games here in St. George and they are pretty fun to watch though I dont know any of the players or coaches here.

I get to PS a couple times a month to see kids. I just need to time the next trip with a game.
