City Section releases playoff divisions

The City Section released its playoff divisions for boys' and girls' on Monday. Teams can petition to go up or down if they feel there's an error. The divisions were created based on competitive equity and past performance.
There will be a 12-team Division I bracket and 16 teams for Division II, III, IV and V. There's also going to be an eight-team Open Division bracket. There are 24 Division I teams, 21 in Division II, 22 in Division III, 23 in Division IV and 23 in Division V.

Division I: Westchester, El Camino Real, Taft, Narbonne, Dorsey, Palisades, Crenshaw, Fairfax, Sylmar, Washington, University, Birmingham, Cleveland, Fremont, Garfield, Bell, San Pedro, Granada Hills, Kennedy, Chatsworth,, Poly, Carson, South Gate, Verdugo Hills.
Division II: Hamilton, Gardena, Grant, Reseda, Venice, Eagle Rock, Locke, Hollywood, Los Angeles, Manual Arts, Bravo, Huntington Park, Roosevelt, Banning, Marshall, West Adams, Arleta, King Drew, Canoga Park, South East, Sotomayor.

Division III: Lincoln, Roybal, North Hollywood, Franklin, Jefferson, RFK, Santee, Wilson, Angelou, Belmont, Bernstein, Torres, Van Nuys, Contreras, Monroe, Panorama, San Fernando, Chavez, Marquez, Maywood, Rivera, Hawkins.
Division IV: Animo Venice, Animo Bunche, Animo SLA, Collins, Downbown, East Valley, Elizabeth, Foshay, Fulton, Jordan, LACES, Legacy, Mendez, Northridge, Orthopedic, De La Hoya, Port of LA, Rancho Dominguez, SOCES, Stern, Sun Valley, VAAS, View Park.


Division V: Academia, Animo Robinson, Annenberg, Brightstar, CALS, Camino Nuevo, Central City, Community Charter, Discovery Prep, Douglass, Dymally, ESAT, Gertz-Ressler, Harbor Teacher, Ivy Academia, LA Int., Lakeview, Marlton, Middle College, New Designs, Triumph, USC Mast, Vaughn.
