Serra High wins first CIF D IV Title in School History

Willauer-Friday, November 29, 2019-Devore Stadium-Southwestern College-Chula Vista, CA-For the first time ever in the history Serra High School when they opened their doors in 1976 finally achieved a goal that has never been achieved as they won their first CIF Division IV in school history.

QB Timmy Zebroski passed for 136 yards and rushed for 95 yards along with 3 touchdown runs of 15, 28 and 12 yards each. Serra teammate Brevin Lingao rushed for 129 yards scored 2 touchdown runs of 12 and 8 yards each.

Serra qb Timmy Zebroski on his performance in the teams 37-7 win over Santana: "It feels great to come with the win tonight our first title in our school history." "Once when we scored our 2 touchdowns to go up 12-7 we had momentum throughout the contest we knew that we had to keep focusing along with a mentality knowing that we had to do our responsibilities as we helped each other and focused hard that is how we won the game."


For the Sultans of Santana Brooks Moutaw scored on a 4 yard run and qb Nathan Temple threw for 129 yards.

In a CIF Division IV State Playoff contest the Consquistadors will travel to El Monte High School on Friday, December 6th.
