Vista Panthers Advance to Semi Final Round with 35-14 win over Christian Patriots in a Division II CIF Quarter Final Playoff

Willauer-Contributing Writer-Dick Haines Field-Vista High School-Vista, CA-The Vista Panthers on Travis Bennett's 2 touchdown passes of 24 to Ed Nelson and 14 yards to Desmond Taua as he threw for 91 yards, 3 touchdown runs, 2 by David Flores (103 yards running) of 4 and 19 yards 1 run of 41 yards by Desmond Taua (68 yards running)
"David Flores made a couple of good runs for us but Christian is an outstanding squad, last week in the first round, they defeated Otay Ranch last week 24-21, they are well coached and their kids worked hard tonight but we kept working and moved some of our players around as we are trying to improve as a team we made a few adjustments both on offense and defense but it's good to get the win." said Head Football Coach David Bottom
Christian Nate Stine 37 yards rushing, Gabe Krug 58 yards rushing and 128 yards passing, Todd Berger 4 receptions for 88 yards Isaiah Givens 3 receptions for 52 yards.
With the win the Vista Panthers will host the El Camino Wildcats a 42-21 win over the San Pasqual Eagles. The semi final round will be played at Vista High
