Willauer-Contributing Writer-Friday, Februarty 23, 2018-Torrey Pines High School-San Diego, CA-The Torrey Pines Falcons known for their Boston Celtics style of basketball as for boxing out, rebounds and take the shots proved themselves tonight under long time Falcons coach, former Villanova and NBA standout John Olive proved themselves as they defeated the 7th seed Torreys of LaJolla Country Day School by a 92-66 score.

Finn Sullivan of Torrey Pines player on his 32 point performance: "It was a huge win for us as I wanted this one in my last year at here Torrey Pines." "I don't worry about the points that I score all I focus on is to get a bucket, rebound and look for the good shots that is now I play my game."

" Coach Olive has been preaching to us that we need to play a better defense as a team we came into this game all fired up we did well on shutting their offense down we did a good job on that" said Finn Sullivan

Finn Sullivan led the Falcons at 28-2 with 32 points, Mitchell Pope with 30 and twin brother Bryce Pope with 12 and will take on the 25-5 Buccaneers of Mission Bay with the amazing junior sensation of Rajean Boogie Ellis.

For the Torrey's of LaJolla Country Day School as they conclude their season at 21-9, Ryan Langborg and Raymond Lu each contributed with 14 points, Ben Daugherty 11 and Jayson Taylor contributed with 10.
