University of Arizona bound Braxton Burmeister known for his quarterback passing and running ability paced the Torreys of LaJolla Country Day School to their 2nd CIF title threw for 274 yards passing and rushed for 102 yards Brennan Goring 8 receptions for 86 yards scored 2 touchdown passes of 4 and 15 yards, Jaden Dir 4 receptions for 77 yards scored 2 touchdown runs of 23 and 43 as they defeated Santana High School by a 38-24 score.
For Santana Josh Oedewaldt completed his first 10 passes and was 19 of 33 overall for 194 yards and TDs of 26 yards to Aiden Rasmusson (8-75) and 13 yards to Brock Ellis (6-89). Santana all-time rushing leader Bobby Wallace gained 141 yards on 32 carries, including a 6-yard TD run to open the scoring after a fumble recovery by Cameron Kane on the fourth play of the game.
