By David A. Willauer-Contributing Writer-4-9-21-Jack Ashby Field-Mission Hills High School-San Marcos, CA: Mission Hills football squad improves to 4-0 on the season put on an aerial display last night at Jack Ashby Field, on a 1 yard touchdown by Cameron Woolsley, Riley Fountain's 6 yarder for a score, QB Gunner Hensley threw for 1 54 yards including a 74 yard touchdown pass to Matt Martin (4 receptions for 113 yards), and scored on a 1 yard touchdown along with Cameron Riddell's 8 yard score as he carried the ball for 147 yards defeated the Wildcats of El Camino by a 37-21 score.

Mission Hills Head Football Coach Chris Hauser: "It was a back and forth game to me it had that kind of destination that El Camino didn't give up scored later in the second half, they are a good team.: For football the phrase is you play 4 quarters that is what football is all about, you responsibilities of the game is to finish, halftime doesn't mean anything until the final score."

Jr Canaan Riddell had a huge game for us tonight as he's been put in a great role with our senior running back Cameron Woolsley who suffered a knee injury in our first game which sidelined him for the rest of the year Canaan has played a major role and has responded week in and out has improved on his running game every week." " In the second half, El Camino took away our throwing game as our offensive line controled the line of scrimmage and opening holes for Canaan running the ball." "I thought we did well as Gunner Hensley who is a talented young man who gets over things in which he does and doesn't let things bother him as he's trying to figure out why that happened and be the hardest critic in which we like at the same time he is our starting quarterback talented as he continues to improve each game, he has so much good football ahead of him were looking forward to him next week when we play San Marcos ." said Coach Hauser

El Camino 2-2 scored their touchdowns by Connor Malauulu's on a 1 yard run as he ran for 23 yards, teammates Kamuela Katiaki scored on a 2 yard run and Larry Ward's fumble recovery.

The Grizzlies of Mission Hills will close their season next week when they take on rival San Marcos for the Discovery Bowl Trophy while El Camino will host Oceanside for the Mayors Trophy next Friday April 16 kickoff is 7 PM
