Gerry is among the top prep football experts in the West, having worked for
the Los Angeles Daily News for 18 years, including a long stint as a
columnist and high-school football beat writer.
He has also hosted the weekly Los Angeles Daily News Sports Show
podcast, organized the annual Daily News All-Star Football Game and
has made occasional TV appearances.
Gerry has also worked as a reporter for the Los Angeles Times, the Glendale
News-Press, the old Foothill Leader, Petersen Pro Sports magazine, and was
the regional sports editor for the AOL Patch.
