As
the fall began to fade and the High School basketball season began to
ramp up, Hoops Factory TV spent a day in early November 2013, at The
League Presented by The Compton Magic in and The Paul Pierce Fall League. Take a look as we capture the last time eventual State Champion Mater Dei loses for the year against an inspired performance by Sierra Canyon. We
also are in attendance for the final day of the League presented by the
Compton Magic featuring eventual Nevada Division 1 champion Bishop
Gorman and California Division 1 state runner-up, Centennial.

While at the PPFL at Inglewood High School; we talk to eventual California Mr. Basketball, Stanley Johnson, before he had signed to play at the University of Arizona about his decision-making process. We
also take a quick minute to chat with Mater Dei center Michael Cage Jr.
about the unique perspective of having a father who had played in the
NBA and USC guard Katin Reinhardt about working hard during his year of
in-eligibility. Finally, we get with the star of the day Devearl Ramsey,
guard on Sierra Canyon, who hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to win
the game vs. Mater Dei.

At
The League Presented by The Compton Magic in Corona, CA; Etop Udo-Ema
laced us (again!) with a truly enthralling interview on everything from,
what grassroots/AAU coaches really provide to their players to the
upcoming release of the basketball documentary, "At All Costs". Also
at the League we get exclusives with creme de la creme of the Class of
2015; First with Sedrick Barefield of Centenial and then with the Bishop
Gorman big man combination of Chase Jeter & Stephen Zimmerman.

A couple weeks later, as the high school season was officially underway, we headed out to the Pac Shores Tournament at Redondo Union High School. Part
2 of the episode will feature player interviews from the Pac Shores
Tournament with even more of the best players all over the southern
region of the state.
