Press Enterprise coverage

The coverage the last couple years has really gone downhill..........Especially this year it looks like. They dedicated one page of coverage of high school games. Only three total games had coverage........Local news coverage is why people buy local newspapers............Preseason coverage was very limited and that continued today. Newspapers are struggling in most of the country, but cutting back on local of any sort is not the way to go.

That's very disappointing D5. That my favorite of the preps coverage in the IE for a while with Eric Paul Johnson.

Borderline tragic. For the better part of a few decades, one of my favorite things was reading the sports page cover to cover on Saturday mornings.

They have one of the best high school football programs in the country and they're almost apologetic!

PE had a preview prep magazine in the paper this morning witch was real good, but for the IE section Eric Paul Johnson wrote every article. Is he the only full time prep writer the PE has???

Pretty much, ever since Pep Fernandez left. They've pretty much gone to a coverage by committee approach from all the other newspapers owned by that company

Thats terrible I use to think they did a great job of covering high school football. What they are doing now is pretty pathetic

Plus for me, if I read one article it says I passed my allowance for the 30 day period and wants me to subscribe. I live in Lancaster, I don't think the PE is going to deliver out here so that I can keep tabs on my Alma mater (if they even get coverage)

I would suggest a digital subscription if they actually print enough that is worthwhile, and you can afford it.

The PE should change its name to the PU as it's nothing but Socialist propaganda .
