Elite QB Malik Henry is leaving Westlake

The fallout from Westlake continues as quarterback Malik Henry announced on Twitter today (see link below) that he will be transferring to IMG Academy in Florida, which is roughly 300 miles away from his future college, Florida State. His father Marchell confirmed the news via text.
Henry, a five-star recruit, committed to the Seminoles in November. He's also the second football player to transfer following Marques Evans in the wake of former coach Jim Benkert leaving to become co-head coach at Oaks Christian
All eyes continue to watch to see who will stay or go at Westlake. backup quarterback Grant Bunker, a junior, filled in admirably for Henry in passing for a school record five touchdowns against Paraclete this season.

Thats huge news. I heard this weeks ago as a rumor but it did happen. The top quarterback in the state is headed to Florida. Its safe to say Westlake is no longer in preseason rankings and the Marmonte League opens up.
