Aram Tolegian of the San Gabriel Valley Newspaper has report that 4 star wide receiver Dylan Crawford will be eligible on October 5th at Santa Margarita. He will miss the entire non-league schedule and be ready for Trinity League play which starts on October 9th. Crawford and 4 star Stanford commit KJ Costello form the top passing duo in Southern California.

Doc, I agree this is happening more with football. No where near as crazy as hoops though.

is that because of the AAU madness ?

AAU has a lot to do with it but there are other factors. I've had head coaches tell me that so-and-so head coach went to a kid's home and flat out asked the kid to come join his team. And parents seem more involved in basketball than football. Many are responsible for shopping their kids around, looking for greener pastures. There are only 5 starting positions in basketball so the competition can get crazy.
